On 2nd March 2023, Hishab Technologies (Hishab) and Rangpur Dinajpur Rural Service (RDRS) Bangladesh signed the agreement for Hishab’s Voice User Interface (VUI) at the RDRS’s Head Office in House 43, Road 10, Sector 6, Uttara, Dhaka 1230, Bangladesh.
At this event, Mr. Tapan Kumar Karmaker (Executive Director of RDRS), Mr. Fayzer Rahman (Senior Director, Microfinance of RDRS), Mr. Mahbub Islam (Head of IT of RDRS) & other member were present along with Mohammad Fayadan Hossain (Co-founder & Managing Director of Hishab), Ariful Islam Shakil (Director of Sales & Operations of Hishab), Md. Sarwar Kamal (Head of Engineering of Hishab) & Waziul Islam (Operations Executive of Hishab) with Mr. Mahbub Zaman (Emirates Chairman) were present during the signing ceremony of the agreement.
RDRS works as a Micro Financial Institution (MFI), will launch Hishab’s solution throughout their business operation. They would also bridge the connection between their borrowers and RDRS digitally through the Voice User Interface “VUI”.
At this moment, we will launch 2 services. That is:
Voice Reporting Service: To enable borrowers of RDRS to hear their status of loan repayment or saving information.
Voice based Auditing Service: To match the posting data of loan repayment inputted by field officer, Hishab makes automated outbounding calls to borrowers to check if the inputted repayment amount is correct. If any dispute, it will be automatically escalated to RDRS office for investigation.
This service will help RDRS to save their operation cost and increase their portfolio size by raising borrowers’ satisfaction.
Hishab’s VUI shall act as a Conversational Engine and perform Natural Language Processing which will convert the audio command of Borrowers and institutional users into text format and thereafter in a format which the system of RDRS shall process.
The VUI shall connect to the system of RDRS through Application Programming Interfaces (“API”) as required.
From now, RDRS can manage their customer’s lifecycle using Hishab’s “VUI”. Also, any users can access their information with the use of technology without any learning curve.
After successful piloting, we will start the commercial launch at full scale.

It was established on 8 February 1972 to assist with relief and rehabilitation support to the war-ravaged people of the greater Rangpur-Dinajpur region of Bangladesh soon after the independence war of the newly born country. Now expanded across the country covering 30 districts.
