On 7th June 2022, Hishab Technologies Ltd. (Hishab) and United Development Initiatives for Programmed Actions (UDDIPAN) have signed the agreement for Hishab’s Voice User Interface (VUI) solution at the Convention hall of UDDIPAN’s Head Office in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In this event, Mr. Bidyut Kumar Basu, Executive Director & CEO of UDDIPAN, Dr. Mihir Kanti Majumder, Chairman of UDDIPAN and other members were present along with Mr. Zubair Ahmed, Founder & CEO of Hishab,  Mohammad Fayadan Hossain, Co-founder & Head of sales of Hishab, Mio Ahmed, Co-founder & Head of business development of Hishab, Mr. Arifur Rahman, Product Manager of Hishab and other members were present during the signing ceremony of the agreement. Mr. ITO Naoki, the Honorable Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh & Mr. Md. Fashiullah, Honorable Executive Vice Chairman of Microcredit Regulatory Authority, had given their kind speeches in this ceremony as special guests.

UDDIPAN works as a Micro Financial Institution (MFI), will launch Hishab’s solution throughout their business operation. They would also bridge the connection between their client and UDDIPAN digitally through the Voice User Interface “VUI”. 

We will launch in 4 steps.

i) Voice Reporting Service: To enable borrowers of UDDIPAN to hear their status of loan repayment or saving information.

ii) Voice Data Entry Service: To enable field officers of UDDIPAN to post their loan repayment data collected from borrowers and directly reflected on UDDIPAN’s backend system.

iii) Voice based Auditing Service: To match the posting data of loan repayment inputted by field officer, Hishab makes automated outbounding calls to borrowers to check if the inputted repayment amount is correct. If any dispute, it will be automatically escalated to UDDIPAN office for investigation.

iv) Voice pay for loan recollection: Hishab will make automated outbounding call to borrowers regularly to ask them to make a loan repayment to UDDIPAN, from their Mobile Financial Service wallet (such as bkash, rocket etc.) and follow up til execution of money transfer simply by voice command of borrowers.

Those solutions will dramastically help UDDIPAN to save their operation cost and increase their portfolio size by raising borrower’s satisfaction.

Hishab’s VUI shall act as a Conversational Engine and perform Natural Language processing which will convert the audio command of customers and institutional users in a format which the system of UDDIPAN shall process.

From now, UDDIPAN can manage their customer’s lifecycle to use Hishab’s VUI. Any users can access their information with the use of technology without any learning curve. So, the UDDIPAN’s customers will be able to pay their payments through “Voice Pay”.
