On 12th November 2022, Mr. Zubair Ahmed, Founder & CEO of Hishab attended the Japan-Bangladesh Society Co-creation Conference as a panelist at The Westin Dhaka.
The conference is intended to serve as a platform for academics and social activists for sharing their views informed by their experiences in research and activism in their respective countries and/or regions.
Around 400 individuals, including 100+ international guests, such as Japanese investors, venture capitalists, academicians, social activists, researchers, and innovators in the field of trade and commerce were present at the conference to meet and greet.
The name of the session, which Mr. Zubair joined was “How to be Entrepreneur Through Global Business.” In the session, Mr. Shahed Kamal, Director & Head of Corporate Business of Smart Technology, Mr. Raisul Kabir, Founder & CEO of Brain Station 23, and Mr. A.K.M Fahim Mashroor, Co-Founder & CEO of Bdjob.com Ltd. were present as well.

Q: What are the difficulties to do global business (including making global partnerships) compared to local business?
- Project Management to align with all stakeholders to make a global partnership
- To be competitive, we have 2 options. To lower a price or make an innovation and get IPs. As for the 2nd option, the chance to fail is very high, but we chose this option So for the first 5 years, we focused on building technology by R&D, not making money.
Q: What Mindset do you have?
- Patience, whatever other people say, you need to stick to what you believe.
