After working for T-Systems and the United Nations during his studies, he joined the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in 2005, applying AI methods to research novel Natural User Interfaces for the Internet of Things. In 2012 he co-founded the Experimental Media Lab further investigating innovative concepts for effective and engaging human-computer interaction. In 2018 he joined Hishab as the CTO.

In 2011, she started her career at Mitsubishi UFJ Information Technology as Project Manager. She has engaged in several projects for foreign remittance system development for overseas brunch of Mitsubishi UFJ Bank. In 2014 she was relocated to Singapore and worked as ICT solution sales executive at Softbank Telecom Singapore. She was mainly in charge of Japanese corporation account. Mishu started his career as an Urban Planner Specializing in GIS mapping. In his early days he worked in two major government projects in Bangladesh as GIS expert. He then pivoted towards music production and distribution and started working in a dual role as Marketing Manager and Audio Production Engineer at a indie music label, Incursion Music. He later joined Radio Foorti, the leading FM channel in Bangladesh. In 2015, he got picked up by an IT company, SSD-TECH and joined as a product manager. He worked in Telecom domain business and eventually became a mid level manager who led the digital transformation of the product portfolio. He also worked as a 3G & 4G VAS Manager at Robi Axiata Limited, the 2nd largest telecom in Bangladesh. Thorsten has been a consultant and project manager for enterprise business process management (BPM) for over 15 years in various roles. He joined a small consulting company already during his studies and stayed after the company was acquired by a large BPM software vendor in Germany. In 2009 the establishment of a new subsidiary drew Thorsten to work overseas in Australia for two years. Coming back to Germany in 2011 he decided to work as a freelance consultant, until he joined Hishab in 2020.

He first joined Recruit Co., Ltd. and worked in both business and corporate office over 18 years. In 2005, he joined IMJ Group, back then listed company in Japan, and later promoted to CFO in 2008. In 2012, he founded IMJ Investment Partners, a corporate venture capital arm of IMJ group, and began investment in startups in Japan and Silicon Valley.
